Caitlin Docking

Caitlin has been in love with the stage ever since appearing in her elementary school's adaptation of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" at the age of 6 (she played an unnamed friend of the Pharaoh and wore a pillowcase).  She is a performer, UBC Theatre graduate, and a co-founder of Quimera.  Joseph aside, her favourite stage credits include "Our Country's Good," "A Matter of Husbands" (both UBC Players Club), and "Pirates?" (Quimera Theatre).  She is Gotham's reckoning, and dreams of one day submitting her bio on time.

Nick Rinke

​​"Leo", Quimera Theatre Co-Founder

Nick Rinke born and raised in Surrey found his passion for acting In high school and continued on in college to learn more about his craft while studying some theatre at Langara College. Last year he joined up with Quimera Theatre Collective and portrayed the roles of Troy, Side Kick Boy and The Unicorn in the show ‘’Pirates?’’ for the Vancouver Fringe Festival. Nicks roles include playing Captain Jemmy Campbell in UBC’s players clubs production of Our Country’s Good and also acted in the club’s Dionysia Festival and played the role of The Young Man in Scott Fitzgerald’s Porcelain In Pink. And played the role of Salazar In Caryoln Nakagawa’s play La Petite Paquita. This fall he will also be playing Alec in Aether Avenue’s production The Retirement Party. He is now a member of Quimera Theatre Collective and will be acting in the upcoming play as Leo in ‘’Death Of A Playwright’’ this fall for the Vancouver Fringe Festival.

Matthew Willis

Matthew Willis is a co-founder, playwright, director and dramaturg(e) of Quimera Theatre Collective. Recent credits include: Festival Dramaturg for Brave New Play Rites (UBC Theatre 2013), Festival Dramaturg for Festival Dionysia (UBC Players Club 2013), Dramaturg for Our Country’s Good (UBC Players Club 2012), Co-Director and Stage-Manager for Pirates? (Quimera Collective at the International Vancouver Fringe Festival 2012), playwright of Joshua Morgan: Ashes and Oases (staged reading, UBC Players Club 2012) and director of Table for Three for Brave New Play Rites (UBC Theatre 2012). Matthew is an honours undergraduate of the University of British Columbia.

Paula Zelaya-Cervantes

​​Dramaturg, Quimera Theatre Co-Founder

Originally from Mexico City, Paula is a fifth year international student at UBC pursuing a double degree in Theatre and English Literature. She hopes to write, read, and create theatre for the rest of her life. Paula has just finished her term as president of the UBC Players’ Club, with which she produced Dionysia Festival (2011, 2013), The Drawer Boy (2012), and Our Country’s Good (2012). Paula wroteThe Dead of Night, a short play that was presented in the Dionysia Festival (Players’ Club 2013), and directed The Last Laugh (Brave New Playrites 2013). She worked as performer and co-devisor of Quimera's 2012 Fringe Festival show Pirates?  and Fly you Fools.

Ndola Hutton

​​Stage manager

Ndola Hutton is a Hamilton native currently studying BFA Theatre Production and Design at the University of British Columbia. Ndola is passionate about spreadsheets, sloths, and Dawson’s Creek, and has had a killer time with the Quimeraites this summer. This is Ndola's third Fringe this year, and recently stage managed in the Toronto and Hamilton Fringe Festivals this summer with Here (Fulcrum Theatre) and Jamie's Gone (Broken Soil Theatre).  Previous credits as a stage manager include: Festival Dionysia (UBC Player’s Club), Antigone, Drafts, and Breathe (Fulcrum Theatre). ASM credits include Blood Relations, Dancing at Lughnasa, and Spoils of Troy (Theatre at UBC).
